Counselling & Psychotherapy
I offer qualified counselling and Integrative psychotherapy to connect with your needs and situation.
Counselling is useful for working through daily life issues such as decisions, relationships or work issues.
Psychotherapy is useful for deeper-seated issues that require greater personal changes.
Integrative psychotherapy works collaboratively with you to draw on a great variety of theories and practices that address human development, personality and character, patterns of attachment, and contemporary psychodynamic theory to create a treatment plan.
I hold national registration as a Registered Certified Practising Counsellor with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). Therefore, I am subject to many professional and ethical requirements including privacy and confidentiality.
I work by forming an attuned relationship with you, as I consider our relationship to be central to the therapeutic process. I value and practice respect and non-judgement, and I believe you hold the wisdom and answers you need in your own being. It is my task to assist you to connect with them.
My primary approaches are person-centred, trauma-informed, somatic, psychodynamic, transpersonal, mindfulness-based and narrative.
